The undertaker will finally say goodbye to Survivor Series. The company invites many of its old Bone Street Krew friends to parting. This will be a rare moment when the BSK will be together and on the same side on WWE TV.
During a conversation with Wrestling Inc, Savio Vega announced that Vince McMahon was considering the idea of bringing the BSK group onto television. They used to be just a backstage band of brothers. Things could have been very interesting, but they obviously decided against the idea.
« Why not? Naturally. We talked to Vince once about being Ahmed Johnson in BSK when I was in BSK and you have Ron, you have Crush, you have me and then maybe at this point you have Ahmed Johnson. And Vince looked at it and said, « It’s too strong. He’s too strong. We have to strike a balance. « Right now it’s like, » Okay, and we’ll just keep working. « Later it says: » If you have a strong team, super, mega strong, that makes your baby face strong too. And that is how they both rise, but that was not the case. Later, after everything broke, they got Ahmed Johnson. ”
Vega then noted that Vince McMahon could have brought her real-world heat to the camera if they’d booked a feud between Kliq and BSK. Of course that didn’t happen.
There are many great ideas in WWE history that have never materialized. It’s very interesting to consider how different things would have been on the Monday Night Wars if Vince McMahon had decided to let BSK run the show both behind the scenes and on the big screen.
