Liverpool are reportedly considering four possible substitutes for Mohamed Salah as his future at Anfield is in doubt.
Jurgen Klopp is said to have had some kind of rift with his star player, according to Don Balon, with Real Madrid potentially going to hit a jump if he becomes available.
The Reds would then allegedly consider Adama Traore, Ousmane Dembele, Ismaila Sarr or Talles Magno as candidates to replace Salah in their attack, according to Don Balon.
Liverpool fans will no doubt be disappointed if Salah ends up leaving. The Egyptian international has been a world-class player since moving from Roma in 2017.
Salah has scored 104 goals in 165 appearances for LFC, helping them win the 2018/19 Champions League and Premier League title last season.
If Don Balon’s report is correct and he and Klopp are having trouble clicking, it may be best if changes are made.
Traore, Dembele, Sarr or Magno all look like high-quality potential signings for Liverpool, even if none of them currently play entirely in Salah’s league.
Klopp, however, has a good track record of greatly improving players, with Salah being a notable example of this, along with the likes of Sadio Mane and Andrew Robertson.
Traore has put in an exciting performance for the Wolves and could fit well with Liverpool’s style of play, while Sarr also shone with Watford in the Premier League before relegation last season.
Dembele struggled at Barcelona but once looked like an amazing young talent so it might be worth playing on in the near future.
Magno is little known at the moment, but the 18-year-old Brazilian looks promising for the future.
