US tennis ace Madison Keys has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss the Australian Open in Melbourne.
The world number 16 says she got a positive result before going after Australia should travel and is now self-isolating in her house.
« I am very disappointed that I will not be able to play in the coming weeks after training hard in the off-season and Tennis Australia and tours so much at that helped make these events happen, « tweeted the 25-year-old.
Keys was a semi-finalist in Melbourne in 2015 and reached the final of the 2017 US Open.
Previously, Andy Murray, former world number 1, was tested positive for the virus, casting doubt on his Australian Open campaign.
